BE HEARD, the longing in the heart of God
That drove Him to create a mind from sod.
BE HEARD, the passion that sent a babe
To find a path to minds all turned away.
BE HEARD, the command of the risen Christ,
A force creative, warm, in a world of ice.

BE HEARD, the spark within my every cell,
A drive, a crying need, a clamoring compel.
BE HEARD, the search I started when God called
For the who and when and how I could be heard.
BE HEARD, the second Gospel imperative,
The love to human after love to God I give.

BE HEARD, but wars and earthquakes and decrees
Begin the sorrows, fire the worthy three.
BE HEARD, oh, then the Gospel will be preached,

The Lamb is King, the Spirit swells the reach.
BE HEARD, then feasting and financial fall,
Decrees and wondrous wrath stir nations all.

BE HEARD, oh, glorious opportunity!
Three angels fly, the temple all can see.
BE HEARD, the passion both of God and me
Fulfilled, dramatic, universe agrees.
BE HEARD, the angels we have heard on high
Give hope we’ll be heard in power by God’s design.
