Warm Up: 1. Did you learn something about Philadelphia that you’d like to share?
2. How much strength does Philadelphia have? With what results? 3. Read Revelation 3:9-11. Find three promises to the church in Philadelphia, besides the “overcomers” promise. 4. Scan again Revelation 3:7-11. Find hints of what the enemies of this church were up to. Compare Matthew 4:5-11 and Luke 4:9-13. Wrap Up: 5. If you had lived through the kind of opposition that the church in Philadelphia did, what would it mean to have God’s name written on your person?
1. Read Revelation 3:7-13 several times. Research Loadicea online or in any dictionaries or commentaries you have available to you. 2. Read whatever you haven't read yet about "Difficult Communication" at www.listenary.com . At the list of articles, read from the bottom up, first posted to latest. |
