Discussion Questions on the Parallel Themes of Daniel and Revelation
Warm up: 1. What twelves have been meaningful to you? Age 12? Twelfth grade? 2. Where are twelves used in today’s society? Twelve days of Christmas, . . . ?
3. Can you find twelves or multiples of twelve in Daniel and Revelation? In the Bible? 4. What might the number twelve symbolize? 5. Revelation has an especially difficult structure to section. How might you section it differently? And why?
6. Draw twelve boxes. Section your spiritual journey so far into twelve pieces. Give each section a name and a theme to write in each of the twelve boxes. Share what you learned. 7. Share an experience when you felt powerless. What did you do? What was the outcome? |
