Jesus himself dictated to John, as stenographer, what was to be written to the seven churches of Revelation. What might we learn, from these letters, about communicating to and within our churches, teams, and communities? |

Discussion Questions on Other Biblical Reversals
Warm up: 1. When did you first read an entire book of the Bible through? Which one? What did it mean to you? 2. Have you know any Esthers or Jobs in present life? How were they like them.
3. Read Esther. How would you cast the characters? How could you create the same plot in today’s business or society setting? 4. Read Job 1-2, and 42. Calculate the verbal or column-inch center of the book and compare it with the center noted in this outline. 5. Read the passages noted as Matthew’s Links with Daniel and Revelation. What common themes do you notice? How important do you think Jesus intended those themes to be in the lives of His followers?
6. Which other book or story segment of the Bible would you like to re-read after this experience? Joseph, Ruth, David, Jonah, Luke-Acts, John? |
