Tovina's motto soon surfaced again:
              Now helping each

"Wilty," she said, "try not to look at the shriveled grapes."

"But the Husbandman sees them all," bitterly said she.

Tovina tasted defeat.

"I need your help, Tovina." It was Amie snuggling in close.

"Happily," answered she.

"But you can't help me unless you act just like me."

"Wait a minute," said Tovina, arching a little farther away, yet recognizing it again, defeat.

"Tovina, what does your name mean?" asked Curio.

"It means TO THE VINE."

"Oh, what an excellent name! And how do you do that?"

Pause . . .

"I forgot," and Tovina felt defeat.

"Why, if she doesn't even know who she is, then I guess she can't help me any," whimpered Tiny.

              Now helping each
